Green, sustainable cuisine

Kafeteria is SMK’s very special eatery. Here you can relax in a unique setting orchestrated by the internationally renowned artist Danh Vo. Kafeteria has set new standards for what a museum café can be.

Kafeteria is run by renowned chef and restaurateur Frederik Bille Brahe. He and his team take a distinct approach to green cuisine, serving food based on principles of simplicity.

Kafeteria has its own bakery and is especially well known for its large selection of homemade cakes, a colourful array of homemade juices and iced teas, freshly baked bread and the best museum coffee in town.

Like the rest of the menu, Kafeteria’s lunch dishes are based on sustainable, organic produce.

You can visit Kafeteria without paying admission to the museum.
